When you’re charged depends on the length of the booking:
- Bookings under 7 hours — a pre-authorisation hold is placed on your card. The final charge is made once the booking has ended.
- Longer bookings — the booking fee is charged when you make the booking.
Kilometres are always invoiced at the end of the booking, based on the kilometres driven during it.
The hold may show on your account for a while before it turns into the final charge or is released. This is normal bank behaviour.
