🚗 Before Driving
- Start the Car:
Press the brake pedal and then press the “POWER” button.
→ Note: The car makes no engine noise on startup — this is normal for hybrids. - Gear Selection:
Choose D (Drive), R (Reverse), or P (Park). - The electronic parking brake is automatically activated when the gear is in P.
🔋 While Driving
- Electric + Gas:
The car automatically switches between electric and gasoline modes.
No manual charging is needed.
🛣️ Using Cruise Control
- Activate/Deactivate:
Press the CRUISE or “Mode” button on the right side of the steering wheel. - To Set Speed:
Press “SET” while driving at your desired speed. - Use + / – buttons to adjust the speed.
- Cancel:
Tap CANCEL or press the brake pedal. - Resume:
Press RES to return to the previously set speed. - The adaptive cruise control feature automatically maintains a safe distance from the vehicle in front.
⛽ Refueling
- Fuel Type:
Toyota Yaris Hybrid runs on gasoline. - Fuel Flap:
Open by pulling the lever located on the floor to the left of the driver’s seat.
⚠️ Safety and Warning Lights
Low Tire Pressure:
A yellow tire icon will appear.
Visually check the tires — if they look and feel full, you may continue driving.
