Driving has never been this easy
Each car has its own home area defined, from where the car is taken into use and where it is also returned after the end of the reservation. Omago has cars in Helsinki, Espoo, Tampere and Turku. With the same membership, you get access to all cars around Finland.
You can rent Alueauto’s for short or longer use. Reservations of less than 8 hours are charged according to the hourly rate, and longer than that are charged according to the daily rate. The price of the car rental is determined by usage, membership level, car model, time and duration of the reservation. Find out more about memberships and the price list below.

Omago Alueauto – area’s own shared car
With Omago, you can enjoy the freedom of a car without the worries associated with owning a car. You can book cars and put them into use with the easy-to-use Omago app. With the service, you can easily and quickly rent cars for both short and longer drives.
Each car has its own home area defined, from which the car is taken into use and where it is also returned after the end of the reservation. This way you always know in which area the car is when your reservation starts. With Omago’s service, you can use all car around Finland.
What does membership include?
As an Alueauto member, you get to use cars as if they were your own, but without the worries of ownership. You don’t have to pay for car insurance, taxes, fuel or maintenance. During the reservation, if necessary, you can refuel, add windshield washer fluid and wash the car with the Neste card found in the car. You can earn discounts on the total amount of the reservation from these self-administered treatment measures. In addition, each car has a designated car master who maintains the cars regularly. At the start of the reservation, the user checks the condition of the car and reports any damage or impurities.
Signing up as a user
Registering and making reservations takes place in the Omago application, which you can download from your phone’s application store. Before registering, you can also view the locations of our cars and their home areas in more detail in the application’s map view. Registration takes place via the “Sign in” button at the top of the map view or the Settings tab. After that, press “Register as a user”.
Making a reservation
The car reservation is made while logged in by selecting the desired car from the map and making a reservation for it. The reservation can be made to start immediately or after a longer period of time (up to 180 days). The date and time of the reservation can be changed or canceled before the reservation period begins.
Starting and using the reservation while driving
When the reservation starts, the reservation is activated from the application. The car doors are also opened and locked from there. Before the reservation starts, the application shows car-specific operating instructions. During the reservation, you can check if you are in your home area, extend the reservation by two hours (when there is no other reservation after your reservation), and end the reservation.
Billing according to actual use
The minimum charge for reservations is 15 minutes, which means the charge is calculated every 15 minutes. The charge always starts from the start of the reservation time and ends when the reservation is terminated, according to the actual driving. If you have made a reservation between 12:00 and 2:00 p.m., but you end the reservation already at 1:30 p.m., you will pay for the period from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. There are no kilometer restrictions on rides, but cars can be driven everywhere within the borders of Finland.
