Is it possible to live in Finland without a car of your own?
Yes, especially in towns and cities. Public transport, cycling and car-sharing cover your day-to-day needs. Omago provides you with a car exactly when you really need it – without the fixed costs of ownership.
How much does owning a car cost per month?
According to Statistics Finland and the Finnish Motorists’ Association, the average cost is between €600 and €900 per month. This figure includes the loan or lease, insurance, taxes, fuel, servicing and tyres.
When is car-sharing a good idea?
If you drive less than around 10,000 kilometres a year or only need the car a few times a week. In that case, you only pay for the time you use it, not for when it’s not being used.
How much does a car-sharing scheme cost?
A typical user pays around €100–200 a month. The price is based on the time used and the kilometres travelled, and fuel is included in the price.
